Yes, Hezcy Packaging uses the rotogravure printing process. The rotogravure printing process (commonly shortened to gravure) is a method of intaglio printing.
Gravure printing works by applying ink to a substrate using a metal plate that is typically mounted onto a cylinder. This plate is often made of copper or chrome.
The image or text that is intended for printing generally is laser-etched into said metal plate, a process that usually delivers high quality and precise results with good repeatability.
Hezcy Packaging is a vertically-integrated manufacturing operation.

We produce sheeted and rolls shrink sleeves on PVC, PETG and OPS materials between 30-70 microns thick.
Determining the size of the sleeve can be affected by container type and application method. We prefer you provide us with a container that we can measure and provide a template for your artwork. We start the sizing by using circumference + 14mm to determine slit width of the sleeve. Secondly measure the height + 4mm to determine the cut length. The size of the sleeve may need to be altered from the original measurements based off printed proof actual application.
You should apply shrink sleeves with equipment made specifically for shrink sleeves, such as a steam tunnel, radiant heat tunnel, hot air tunnel, or hybrid tunnel. We recommend using a steam tunnel for shrink sleeves, as it produces the most uniform results with consistent shrinkage. We do not recommend applying shrink sleeves with heat guns, microwaves, blow dryers, boiling water or shrink wrap tunnel because these methods do not produce a uniform spread of heat and consistent shrinkage.
It is best to apply the sleeves in a controlled environment. Humidity and temperature level changes can affect the way the sleeve applies to the container and shrinks.
– Adobe Illustrator® CS6 or higher: .ai
– PDF file for reference: .pdf
Note: If you do not use any of the programs listed above to create the artwork, please provide us PDF file. We may not be able to modify your artwork if it is not in the accepted file formats.
– Please submit your artwork with all layers and outlines intact, supply all support images or files separately, and include a PDF or hardcopy proof.

The difference between mono-extrusion is that mono-extrusion has single resin, but the co-extrusion is a simultaneous extrusion comprising of two or more resins in a sandwiched film along with some distinctly different individual layers.
You certainly can. We create easy-to-open pouches and bags with features like laser scoring or tear tapes, tear notches, slide zippers, and many more. If you only need an easy peeling inner coffee pack for one-time use, we also have that material.
Aluminum foil is an excellent choice for this kind of project. We also provide metalized films, which are effective even in direct sunlight. Other materials such as polypropylene or nylon can also be used to keep your product from moisture. Certain of our pouch coatings provide excellent protection against moisture as well.
Yes, these sleeves are heat activated. Some of the sleeve materials store better than others but in general we recommend storing the sleeves between 10 °C (50 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F) with low humidity. If the temperature gets below 10 °C (50 °F), it can cause the sleeves to become brittle. If the temperature rises above 25 °C (77 °F), it can cause the sleeves to shrink. For the specific recommendation of the sleeve’s material, please reach out to your customer service representative.
We recommend storing the sleeves for no more than 6-9 months in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment.
You will see natural shrinkage over time due to the way film is produced. The material is stretched. Naturally, the material will want to pull back to its original form. The longer the sleeves sit, the more you will see the natural shrinkage over time. Once the sleeve is applied to a product you would not expect to see additional natural shrinkage.
